Armistices Day.

W.A.L.T:  read information and then re-write the important parts in our own words

Today for reading we are learning to put information  in are own words for armistices day.

this is the paragraph i read about armistices day

"At 11 am on 11 November this year, Aotearoa New Zealand marked the centenary of the armistice that ended the First World War in 1918. On that day 100 years ago, after four years of brutal conflict, war finally gave way to peace." - From https://ww100.govt.nz/arm

this is how i re-wrote the paragraph in my own words

on the 11 of november world war one ended on 11'am in 1918 it is 2018now and it was 1918 when the war ended so it was exactly 100 years ago the war took four years and started in 1914.

  1. Hi amazing Christina,

I think you wrote that sentence really well in your own words.
You put a lot of information in this awesome blog post.
The only one thing that was the only mistake was that you put the 2018 and now together with no spaces like this 2018now.
You should also say bye our something like that.
Other then all of that your blog is incredible.
